Longboard Air
We've been back a couple of weeks now. Some of our family's current events have been a bit stressful lately. Getting out for a session makes me feel better than ever. Here's a mind-capture from a session at Chun's last week. Cutting back over the top I got just a little bit of air, I didn't land it, but it felt good all the same. I'm really getting the hang of the new tablet. Maybe too much, I'm not sure I like all the air brush look of the wave crest, does it really belong in this picture? Rather than take forever to redo it, I'll post it all the same. (The original is available in 14.5in by 18in @ 120 pixels/inch)

DayTrip
I headed down to Harrisburg today, where we lived about 7 years ago. I borrowed mom's car and made the 2 hour drive south in time to meet up with my old business partner Chris for lunch. Afterwards, I hung out at the new library in Lemoyne till evening. After a quiet afternoon of reading I headed over to a pool to join some old swim friends for Masters practice from eight till about ten. It was good to see Andy, Dave, Howard, John, Georgia and the rest of the Chesapeake Bay swimmers. Finally got back up to Williamsport by midnight.

Nature Walk
At mom & dad's this week (in-laws); they live in Northern PA. The house is rural, with a lot of woods to tromp around in. I took the boys for a walk today and we built two sides of a fort from sticks and an overturned tree stump.

Do Over
We had the make up Christmas at Sue's parents today. Lots of kids lots of wrapping paper. Ben got several things including a drawing pad with some erasable color pencils. Sue asked me to do something to start the pad out. Here's some art unplugged, you can do some fun effects using the pencils eraser as a brush after the colors are done.
